FAU-G Launches Independence Day Event

• FAU-G: Domination is launching a series of special events to celebrate Indian Independence Day.
• The occasion commemorates India's independence from British colonial rule in 1947.
• Acquire new cosmetic items and receive a 79% bonus on in-game currency purchases!

If there's one consistent observation I've made, it's that Dot9 Games' FAU-G: Domination is a shooter that proudly showcases its Indian origins. From its authentically regional character designs to its maps based on recognizable local settings, Indian gamers will find much to appreciate. And the upcoming Independence Day festivities are no exception!

To be clear, this isn't a celebration of America's Independence Day. This event marks the anniversary of India's liberation from British colonial rule in 1947. FAU-G is commemorating the occasion not only with a new celebratory trailer but also with numerous in-game rewards for its players.

From August 10th to 15th, players can take advantage of special offers, including a substantial 79% bonus on in-game currency purchases. There will be plenty of ways to spend that currency too, with the launch of the new tricolor-inspired Azadi cosmetic collection, which also features a 79% discount.

Independent Spirit

Throughout August, the game will also feature independence-themed menu designs, making the commemorative atmosphere even more prominent. As noted earlier, projects like FAU-G and its competitor Indus are in a tight race to create the first major homegrown gaming hit.

India's gaming market is enormous, and its expanding player base has attracted significant interest from international developers and publishers. However, India also boasts a dynamic domestic game development scene. This competitive environment and strong national pride have clearly driven FAU-G's development and its growing impact on the local shooter market.

That said, it's competing in an intensely crowded genre, not just within India but globally. Need proof? Explore our curated list of the best shooters available on Android to understand the competitive landscape FAU-G is entering and the quality of titles it's up against.
