Escape from Tarkov update 0.16.0.0 changes revealed

Escape from Tarkov's 0.16.0.0 update is here, bringing a massive overhaul with new features and bug fixes. Battlestate Games has released an extensive changelog and a new trailer showcasing the changes.

• Khorovod Event: A new event featuring special tasks, rewards, and a unique "Khorovod" mode. The objective is to light and protect a Christmas tree in six different locations.

• Prestige System: Similar to Call of Duty, players can reset their character after reaching level 55, retaining some equipment and earning prestige-specific rewards (achievements, cosmetics, and quests). Two prestige levels are initially available, with eight more planned.

• Engine Upgrade: The game has transitioned to the Unity 2022 engine.
