Torchlight: Infinite’s eighth season, Sandlord, has arrived, marking the game's biggest season to date and it's now live! This season introduces a host of new features that significantly alter the gameplay, inviting you to construct your very own floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The centerpiece of Sandlord is the Cloud Oasis, a city that you get to manage. Here, you'll gather resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into tangible benefits by strategically assigning workers to five different professions. This approach not only unlocks new trade routes and bonuses but also offers seasonal rewards, blending the action RPG combat with elements of a strategy simulation.
Thea, previously known as a divine channeler, has transformed into the Blasphemer. Her new role involves spreading desecration instead of blessings, applying Erosion Damage that intensifies over time, making her a formidable force in the game.
The Deep Space region has undergone a significant transformation, featuring five new stages packed with monsters and survival challenges, enhancing the thrill of exploration.
A new item, Probes, has been introduced. Similar to Compasses, Probes occupy their own slot and enhance both the rewards you earn and the difficulty of your encounters.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame experience is enriched with the addition of new Legendary Stages, which are rare but highly rewarding. These stages bring unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy.
Some zones are breaking the mold, such as the Abyssal Vault, which is devoid of enemies but filled with Mystery Chests ripe for the looting.
In contrast, the Sea of Rites introduces a swarm of goblins that don't attack but, when defeated, can summon a secret boss, adding an element of surprise and strategy.
The Supreme Showdown stage allows both you and the bosses to utilize the Golden Gaze mechanic. A well-timed hit can transform enemies into treasure, adding a layer of tactical depth to the combat.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the latest season's adventures.
