Deadlock's February Update: Minor Tweaks for Four Heroes and Item Adjustments
Valve continues its steady stream of Deadlock updates, this time focusing on smaller adjustments impacting four heroes and select items. The update, the first of February and the fifth in 2025, marks a shift in Valve's development approach; updates are now released on an as-needed basis rather than a fixed schedule.
Calico suffered significant nerfs. Her Return to Shadows ability received a substantial cooldown increase (ten seconds) and a 20% speed reduction, shifted to tier 2. The damage output of her tier 2 Leaping Slash was also decreased.
Sinclair received a visual overhaul with updated sounds and animations. More notably, his Rabbit Hex ability has been transformed into an area-of-effect (AoE) attack. Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, though specifics weren't detailed.
Item changes include a reduction in stacks for Ammo Scavenger, removing its health bonus. Furthermore, Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot no longer offer Fire Rate and Weapon Damage bonuses, respectively.
