Dark and Darker Mobile's eagerly anticipated pre-season #3, dubbed 'Grappling with the Abyss', is now live and will run through June 10th. Much like the buzz created by Sonic Rumble's pre-launch event with Sega icons, Dark and Darker Mobile is setting a high bar by offering a plethora of new content to its soft launch players.
One of the standout additions this season is the Arena mode, introducing competitive PvP to the game. In this mode, players will engage in 3v3, best-of-five deathmatches on randomized maps. To participate, you'll need to reach at least level 10 and have an equipment score of 500 or higher. You can also bring a hired mercenary companion into the fray, adding an extra layer of strategy to your battles.
Another major feature is the Shadow Realm, a new PvE mode where you'll tackle weekly boss battles against formidable monsters. Before facing the boss, you'll need to clear waves of lesser creatures to summon them, making the challenge even more intense. Access to this mode is available once you reach account level 15.
Beyond these headline features, pre-season #3 brings a host of other enhancements. The new Guild Encampment provides a social hub where guild members can interact. The Soulstone system, available at account level 8, allows you to equip a monster's soulstone to gain unique traits. Additionally, the Stat Tree system introduces persistent progression, complementing the influx of new loot, monsters, gear, and various quality-of-life improvements.
