Crusader Kings III Chapter IV: Expanding Horizons with Mongols and Asia

Paradox Interactive has unveiled its ambitious plans for Crusader Kings III in 2025, encompassing Chapter IV: an expansive journey into Asia. This chapter promises a significant expansion of gameplay, introducing new mechanics and regions to explore.

The journey begins with the recently released Crowns of the World cosmetic DLC. This stylish pack provides players with six new crowns, four hairstyles, and two beards, offering enhanced customization options for their rulers.

Next up, on April 28th, Khans of the Steppe will launch, thrusting players into the heart of the Mongol Empire. As the Great Khan, you'll lead nomadic hordes, conquering vast territories and establishing your dominance across the steppes.

Following the Mongol conquest, Coronations will arrive in Q3 (July-September). This DLC introduces a new ceremonial mechanic, allowing players to legitimize their rule through grand coronation events. Prepare for extravagant festivities, solemn vows, and crucial decisions shaping your kingdom's destiny. New advisor and vassal events will further enrich political interactions, adding depth to royal succession.

The grand finale of Chapter IV is All Under Heaven, a massive expansion slated for later this year. This expansion unveils the entirety of East Asia, meticulously detailing China, Korea, Japan, and the Indonesian archipelago. Players will find themselves immersed in vast new territories ripe for exploration and conquest.
