Crashlands 2 has just released a major update, version 1.1, and Butterscotch Shenanigans, the creators, have included a variety of features that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly waiting for. Here's a breakdown of what's new in this exciting update:
What's in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The highlight of the update is the introduction of Legend Mode, a new difficulty setting that surpasses even the Challenge Mode. In Legend Mode, the enemies on Woanope are not only quicker but also hit harder and have increased HP. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes becomes even more fragile. While there are no additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulties, providing a rewarding challenge for seasoned players.
For those who prefer a more relaxed gameplay experience, the update introduces Explorer Mode. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on farming mushrooms, building charming houses, and fishing without the fear of constant attacks. It's perfect for players who want to immerse themselves in the story, decorate their base, and enjoy the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
One of the most requested features from the community, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return. This tool meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, from the number of pets and recipes to items yet to be found, helping players achieve their goals more efficiently.
Pets Also Got a Bit of an Upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 have been enhanced to assist in combat, each equipped with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. This adds a new layer of strategy to battles, making your furry companions even more valuable.
Gear crafting has also seen significant improvements, with random bonus stats now appearing on crafted armor, adding variety to your equipment. Additionally, a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have been introduced, giving players more options to customize their gameplay.
Quality of life improvements are plentiful in this update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the night-time darkness level, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
Crashlands 2 is available for download on the Google Play Store. The game initially launched on April 10th, and this patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback and continuously improving the game.
