The Plasma Burst Laser, a new Epic item in the Lawless season, is crucial for accessing Vaults. While finding one can be tricky, your best bet is searching POIs with Vaults, such as Crime City (known for its abundance of Go Bags and Chests). Alternatively, two Black Markets offer the Laser for 600 Gold. The Black Market near Magic Mosses is strategically advantageous for the subsequent quest step.

Collecting Mineral Samples: A Step-by-Step Guide

Mineral Samples

Armed with your Plasma Burst Laser, locate a destructible stone structure (note: permanent structures won't work). Use the Laser to obliterate the stone. Mineral samples won't automatically appear; instead, a small rock fragment will drop. Interact with this fragment to complete the quest objective.

Conveniently, Joss' lab will be marked on your map for sample analysis. Interact with the designated spot in her lab to earn XP and finish the Wanted: Joss Outlaw Quests. Return to the game and enjoy your newly acquired rewards!
