Mastering Character Customization in Monster Hunter Wilds
Character customization is a key element in Monster Hunter Wilds, offering players extensive options to personalize their hunter and palico. This guide details how to modify your character's appearance and outfits.
Altering Your Hunter and Palico's Appearance
Monster Hunter Wilds provides a detailed character creator accessible throughout the game. Once you've established your base camp, access the Appearance Menu within your tent (using L1 or R1). Select "Change Appearance" to revisit the character creator and adjust your hunter's and palico's physical attributes.
Modifying Outfits with Layered Armor
The Layered Armor system is available from the game's outset. Navigate to the Appearance Menu in your tent, then choose "Equipment Appearance." This lets you customize your hunter's and palico's outfits using unlocked layered armor pieces. Note: You can't directly transmog equipped armor; only layered armor can be used for cosmetic changes.
Changing Outfits Without Layered Armor
If you're not satisfied with the available layered armor, the only alternative is to craft and equip new armor sets. Remember that each armor piece affects stats, so balance aesthetics with functionality.
Seikret Customization Options
The Appearance Menu also includes Seikret Customization. Here, you can adjust your Seikret's skin and feather colors, patterns, decorations, and even eye color.
