How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
To reach the cat island, you'll need to head to the Omi region, which you'll likely visit around the midpoint of the game's story. Ensure your characters are well-equipped and ready for new challenges before setting off. Navigate northeast to reach Omi.
Your destination is Lake Biwa, a large body of water central to the region. To get there, it's advisable to find a boat, which you can acquire from the settlements of Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous, you can swim across the lake.

Your target is the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, just northwest of Azuchi. Upon reaching this island, known as Okishima, you'll discover a Kakurega where you can rest. Look around the docks, where you'll see fish being dried—a sign that the island is home to many animals.
To immerse yourself in the feline paradise on Okishima, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter an increasing number of cats. Be sure to interact with them by petting them, as this will add them to your collection for use in your Hideout. Keep an eye out for rare kittens, which are particularly hard to find elsewhere.

While most Leaps of Faith reveal new locations on your map, the true treasure of Okishima lies in your new feline companions. After exploring and taking the Leap of Faith into a haystack, there isn't much more to do except enjoy the company of the cats. You'll also revisit Okishima later in Yasuke's story, adding another layer of anticipation to your journey.
