Embarking on your journey through the Ligneus Region in *Atelier Yumia* with Yumia and her companions, you'll soon discover the joy of setting up camp. This feature not only allows you to rest and recharge but also offers a chance to deepen your bonds with your friends. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to camp in *Atelier Yumia*.
How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia
Unlocking the ability to craft Camping Sets is a pivotal moment in your adventure. You'll gain this skill through Simple Synthesis after successfully clearing the manabound Dux Lighthouse, the first such area Yumia encounters in the story. Once you've established a base on the newly revealed land, return to the Ligneus Survey Base and have a chat with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.
To craft a Camping Set, you'll need the following materials:
- 5% Energy
- 3 Wood
- 2 Water
- 5 Fiber
- 2 Charcoal
These resources are easily accessible around the Ligneus Survey Base. Water can be sourced from wells scattered throughout the region or by harvesting plants along riverbanks, which also yield fiber. Charcoal, on the other hand, is a byproduct of mining ore.
Once you've gathered these materials, navigate to the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have a 4×4 space available in your inventory before crafting; otherwise, your Camping Set will be stored in your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.
Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia
With your Camping Set ready, you're free to set up camp in any open space across the Ligneus Region. Be mindful that you can't camp in cramped areas like narrow cliffs or dense forests; you'll need to find a more spacious location. There are numerous designated campsites, such as the River Campsite near the Ligneus Survey Base, where you can establish a temporary base.
To check if camping is possible in a specific spot, access the radial menu with your Camping Set in your Exploration Bag. If the Camping option in the bottom right corner is highlighted, you're good to go. If it's greyed out, you'll need to find another location.
What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia
Camping isn't just about resting; it's your only opportunity to cook the food you've gathered during your explorations. This is crucial before tackling challenging bosses or venturing into manabound areas, especially on higher difficulty settings.
Moreover, camping provides a unique chance to engage in conversations with your companions. While these dialogues don't impact the main storyline, they offer valuable insights into their personalities and backgrounds, enriching your overall experience.
And that's everything you need to know about camping in *Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land*. Enjoy your adventures and the moments of rest and connection that camping brings.
