Blue Exorcist RPG AlternaVvelt Released on Mobile

Over a year after it was first announced, Blue Exorcist: AlternaVvelt Another Story has officially launched on Android. Published by Aniplex, this 3D action RPG offers a brand-new adventure set in the Blue Exorcist universe, complete with an original storyline.

The game had faced multiple delays and uncertainties, but the official release is now live in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Brazil, Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines.

Kazue Kato's dark fantasy returns in a new incarnation

Although familiar locations like True Cross Academy Town appear, this is neither a remake nor a continuation of the main series. It’s a spin-off with its own plot and an entirely new cast of characters.

The game introduces a fresh roster of characters, all designed by Kazue Kato, the creator of the original manga. You will still encounter well-known faces such as Rin Okumura and his brother Yukio. However, the story explores a previously unseen dimension of the Blue Exorcist world, going beyond what has been shown in the anime or manga.

In terms of gameplay, you can harness various Demonic Elements and deploy Arcana and Skills during combat. Join forces with guildmates or friends to take on formidable bosses in multiplayer modes.

Social features include room customization, which allows you to design your personal space and visit other players' rooms. The game’s fully voiced story includes performances by renowned voice actors such as Jun Fukuyama, Kana Hanazawa, Yuki Kaji, Tetsuya Kakihara, and Hiroshi Kamiya.

While AlternaVvelt isn't a direct sequel to Blue Exorcist, it shows a lot of potential. If you're interested, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
