The Blood of Dawnwalker, new RPG from CD Projekt RED veterans, revealed

Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by former CD Projekt RED developers, recently unveiled their debut project, The Blood of Dawnwalker, in a captivating livestream. The stream featured a four-minute cinematic trailer, serving as the game's opening cinematic and setting the stage for a dark fantasy action RPG experience.

Set in a 14th-century alternate Europe, The Blood of Dawnwalker follows Coen, a young man thrust into a supernatural struggle after the events depicted in the trailer. He must rescue his loved ones from a vampire threat within a perilous 30-day deadline. While time progresses strategically during specific gameplay moments, players will need to carefully manage their resources and actions.

Coen's journey presents significant moral choices. He must grapple with the temptation to embrace his newfound vampiric powers, a decision that profoundly impacts both gameplay and narrative. A key mechanic, Blood Hunger, adds a layer of urgency and risk. If Coen goes too long without feeding, he risks losing control and inadvertently harming crucial characters, leading to unforeseen consequences.

Players will explore richly detailed environments, with dynamic changes influenced by the time of day. The developers describe the game world as a "narrative sandbox," offering extensive opportunities for player agency and exploration.
