In the wilds of Midgard, the dead roam freely in broad daylight. The rivers' water burns your throat, and Valkyries no longer guide the fallen to Valhalla. Something sinister lurks in the shadows of forests and gorges. The goddess Hel is behind this chaos, having cursed these lands with her black magic in just 15 days.
