Before Starting Your Sensor

Before initiating your Sensor, you need to decide which device you will use for monitoring. Alarms and glucose readings can only be received on your smartphone or your FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader, not both simultaneously. If you opt for your smartphone, start the Sensor using the FreeStyle Libre 2 app. Alternatively, if you prefer the Reader, initiate the Sensor with it.

Remember, the FreeStyle Libre 2 app and Reader do not share data with each other. To ensure complete data collection on a specific device, scan your Sensor every 8 hours with that device. Otherwise, your reports will not reflect all your data. You can also upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
