How does emmy work? It's simple: download the app and start riding your moped.

The emmy app is your gateway to seamless scooter mobility. Use it to locate a nearby electric roller, reserve it, and unlock it effortlessly. emmy handles the charging, ensuring your scooter is always ready to go. Each moped comes equipped with two helmets in different sizes and a mobile phone holder for your convenience.

Creating your emmy account is straightforward:

1. Download the emmy app and register for €4.95, which includes 15 free minutes.
2. Sign up and verify your EU driver's license; once approved, you're ready to ride our electric mopeds.
3. Use the app to find and reserve an electric moped near you.
4. End your rental by parking the moped in a public parking lot within our business area.

How to start your emmy electric moped:

1. Open the helmet box by pressing the red button and take a helmet.
2. Remove the moped from the kickstand by standing with it between your legs and pushing the handlebars forward.
3. Flip the red switch on the right handlebar to "ON" and ensure the side stand is fully folded. For Yadea models, press the "P-button."
4. Start the engine by pulling the brake and pressing the "Down" switch on the left handlebar simultaneously.

In Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden, you can ride the lightweight NIU scooter, perfect for city commuting. The Yadea moped is available in Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich. Always park your moped in designated areas for mopeds and bikes, avoiding bike lanes, bus lanes, and pedestrian walkways.

How much does it cost to rent an emmy moped?

The one-time registration fee is €4.95, which includes 15 free minutes for your first trip (valid for 3 months). Booking and reserving a moped is free for 15 minutes. Unlocking costs €1, and you'll be charged €0.33 per minute of riding. You can pause your ride at a reduced rate.
