The "Digital Revolution of Devarattam" app is a project dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Devarattam, a traditional folk dance of Tamil Nadu. This app is a tribute to several esteemed individuals: Kalaimamani Mr. M. Kumararaman (retired teacher), Kalaimamani Mr. M. Kannan Kumar, and Kalaimamani Mr. K. Nellai Manikandan from Zamin Kodangipatti, who have been awarded the Kalaimani, Kalaimani, and Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar awards respectively, for their contributions to Devarattam. The app also acknowledges the guidance of Guru Mr. E. Rajakamulu and the legendary performers of Devarattam.

The primary aim of this app is to disseminate information about Devarattam and its renowned awardees. The app provides detailed descriptions of the dance itself, including its history and evolution. Devarattam, performed by the Rajakambalathu Nayakkar community both historically and in the present day, comprises a core set of 32 dance steps, with additional variations expanding the repertoire to 72 steps. The app showcases the distinctive style of Devarattam dancers, who perform while holding kerchiefs and wearing salangai (ankle bells), accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of the Deva Thunthumi, a traditional musical instrument.
