The Emile range of resources has been crafted by a dedicated team of teachers, academics, and game developers. Together, we have successfully provided games-based learning resources to over 15% of primary schools across the UK and Ireland. Our comprehensive suite of educational tools is grounded in robust pedagogical research and undergoes rigorous testing by teachers in real classroom environments.

Emile's inception was facilitated through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership and co-funded by Innovate UK. In collaboration with the Faculty of Education at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK, Emile was developed with a strong pedagogical foundation. This multi-award-winning resource has demonstrated a significant positive impact on student learning outcomes across Key Stages 1 and 2. Moreover, it significantly reduces teacher workload, particularly when integrated with Emile's own schemes of work.

Feedback from UK teachers has played a pivotal role in the evolution of Emile. As a result, Emile now includes advanced features such as:

• A Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) Emulator, which allows teachers to adjust time limits, customize questions, and accommodate slower learners;
• A thorough and targeted spelling scheme aligned with statutory spelling words;
• End-of-unit and end-of-block assessments that seamlessly integrate with the White Rose scheme of work; and
• Tools designed to support students in intervention groups, including auto-generated analyses of knowledge gaps.

Emile is utilized by thousands of schools and multi-academy trusts throughout the country. It's an ideal solution for homework, classroom activities, assessments (both formative and summative), and intervention groups, enhancing the learning experience for primary school students.
